Chimera

Chimera

Employing a vintage carnival scene as a means to both entertain as well as evoke allegorical significance, Chimera explores the layers of human existence and the external façade we build around ourselves in order to protect our vulnerabilities. The complexities of self-acceptance and denial ultimately effect what we individually reveal or keep hidden inside. The chimera we become, as a result, is composed of very disparate parts, perceived as wildly imaginative, often implausible, and also quite dazzling.
